How do I know if I'm chosen?:
Make sure your contact information is up to date. We will contact you either by email or telephone. back to top
What if I'm not available for a job.:
Do not submit yourself for projects if you are not available for the full day of the shoot. In the case of a feature film that spans several weeks, we understand everyone cannot be available every single day. If you are unavailable for the day you are contacted for, just let us know ASAP so we can book someone else and you will be placed back into the mix. back to top
I don't have a call time yet.:
Call times are rarely determined prior to the night before the shoot day. There are many factors contributing to this, including the length of the previous shoot day, labor union rules and many other factors. We may not know the call time until after filming is wrapped the night before. Keep checking the website for updates. back to top
Can I get a speaking role?:
Speaking roles are cast through an audition process sometimes months before filming begins. The best way to get a speaking role is to get an agent, so you can start going on auditions. back to top
Can you suggest and agent?:
In the interest of fairness, we cannot endorse any talent agency. You need to look at all the agencies in your area. Request a meeting with them and see how you feel about them, and how they feel about you. (It is important that no money changes hands until after they get you a paying job. Talent agencies are paid a commission on work they get you, and nothing else.) back to top
What happens after I register:
Once you have registered, you are then in our database. When a project comes into the casting office, we will look at everyone that is registered and make decisions based on the needs of the script or commercial, weighing the director's request for the type of people needed in the project. back to top
What if I have to cancel after being confirmed?:
If you have already confirmed your attendance for work, the production is depending on you to show up on time. We understand certain events arise on rare occasions, such as health or family emergencies, and in that event, please contact the casting office immediately so you can be replaced. back to top

Photo - I get and error when I try to upload my photo:
We can only accept .jpg, jpeg, png, and gif files up to 2MB (2097152 bytes) for pictures. back to top
Photo - My picture won't update:
When you update a picture sometimes you have to refresh your browser. Your old picture is in the cache and once you refresh the new photo will show up. If you are getting an error message please let us know what the error message says. But if once you upload your picture and you get a message of !!!Success!!! then just try reloading that page again. If this still has no effect and you have gotten the success message on upload. What is probably happening is that the east coast and west coast servers haven't synced with each other give it a little time and try back later to see if it has updated. back to top
I registered during Pearl should I register again?:
If you registered for Pearl you are already in the system. You should have gotten an email with your username and password. Use those to log in, you don't have to register again. You can just update your Pearl info that we have. back to top
I registered during Pearl but got the email too late and registered again.:
Don't worry about it. We'll get rid of the duplicate and you'll have one username. We'll take the most recent one that you logged in with. So go ahead and log in using the username and password you want to keep, and just keep using that one. back to top
Photo - can I upload more than one picture?:
At this time we are only allowing one picture per person. You can change it anytime you like but only one will be on record at a time for you. back to top
Photo - Problem uploading picture (I have a initial in my name):
If you have an initial in your name (Mike Q. Public) for some reason the server may reject your picture. !!!Temporary fix!!!! remove the . from your inital and it should upload and resize fine. This issue should be fixed soon. back to top
Registration - Error saying that I'm not alphanumeric:
When you first sign up and choose a username, make sure that the name you choose doesn't have any symbol or puncuation characters in it. This is a username and not your email address. )So no -, ., ,, @, !) just letters and numbers. back to top
